British Blues Award winner Dani Wilde burst onto the International blues scene in 2007, opening for Jools Holland at London’s Royal Albert Hall and signing to prestigious blues record label Ruf Records. “The entire audience was silenced and caught in the spell of deep emotion… she won the hearts and souls of everyone in the crowd – outstanding.” – Music News Magazine Since then she has toured extensively (playing up to 250 concerts a year) across the UK, Europe, America, Canada and Africa charting in the blues and country charts in Europe. USA concerts have included headline shows under her own name, and performances with girl group “Girls With Guitars” alongside Samantha Fish and Cassie Taylor. The group’s 2012 record, produced by Mike Zito in Berlin, was a hit in Europe; the single ‘Bitch’ reaching the Number 1 spot in the iTunes blues charts in Italy. In 2017, Dani signed with Vizztone Label Group to release a live in the studio album entitled “Live at Brighton Road”. Her relationship with Vizztone continues as she reaches for new heights with the release of a brand new single ‘Howling at the Moon’. Composed and produced by Wilde, the track takes influence from both her British and American influences: “I was listening to British artists Paul Weller and 80’s pop-soul singer Sam Brown who inspired my arrangements and vocals, as well as taking guitar influence from my American blues heroes Albert Collins and Sean Costello.” The track is about a darker time in Wilde’s life where she was “struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel having had my heart broken and stamped on – I was so lost back then but now I can look back and see that I’m a stronger and happier person today because I lived through that.”

That same year she signed to prestigious blues record label Ruf Records. “She releases a sort of diesel roar from her throat, pierced with little darts of high falsetto. It is like two voices. She sings the old twelve bar blues - whooping and slurring like an old boy from the Delta. The place goes mad, as if it can’t quite believe what it’s heard.” ALAN FRANKS, The Times Magazine Since then, Wilde has toured extensively (playing up to 250 concerts a year) across the UK, Europe, America, Canada and Africa, charting in the blues charts and country charts in Europe. USA concerts have included headline shows under her own name, and performances with girl group “Girls With Guitars” alongside Samantha Fish and Cassie Taylor. In 2017, Dani signed with Vizztone Label Group to release a live in the studio album entitled “Live at Brighton Road”. Her single ‘Bumblebee’ reached over 4 million plays on Spotify. Since then her relationship with Vizztone has continued to thrive with further digital releases. 2022 sees Wilde teaming up with top Rhythm and Blues Pianist Christopher Holland for her Xmas single ‘You Are My Sunshine/ Didn’t It Rain’. “I wanted to sing something joyful!” said Wilde... “The world is quite a scary place at the moment, and we have seen some really hard times over the past few years, from Brexit to the Pandemic, and now the current financial crisis and this awful War in Europe; with all this sadness in the world I wanted to record something that would hopefully spread a little sunshine and love!” British Solo Artist Christopher Holland, who has also toured and recorded as a session musician with Squeeze, Sam Brown, Paul Weller, Ray Davies, and elder Brother Jools Holland to name just a few, underpins Wilde’s soulful vocal with gospel infused ‘rhythm and blues’ piano. Expressive and dynamic, vocally this could be Wilde’s best work yet! “It’s a creative cover – a medley of two of my favourite songs” Wilde explains. “The groove picks up as the song transitions into Sister Rosetta’s ‘Didn’t it Rain’. I was really inspired by Chris’ piano playing when I was singing – He's the real deal, and I was very lucky to work with him on this. I loved layering up the vocal harmonies and laying down an electric guitar solo. I was beaming the whole time I was singing because it was so much fun!”.

DANI WILDE – PLUTO. Vizztone Label group. Release Date: May 7th 2021 British Blues Award winner Dani Wilde burst onto the International blues scene in 2007, opening for Jools Holland at London’s Royal Albert Hall and signing to prestigious blues record label Ruf Records. “The entire audience was silenced and caught in the spell of deep emotion… she won the hearts and souls of everyone in the crowd – outstanding.” – Music News Magazine Since then, she has toured extensively (playing up to 250 concerts a year) across the UK, Europe, America, Canada and Africa, charting in the blues and country charts in Europe. Her relationship with Vizztone continues in 2021 with a run of singles recorded in the recent Lockdown, starting with the self-penned track ‘Pluto’. A departure from Wilde’s blues influences, Wilde explains how this track is “inspired by classical composers such as Holst who capture something otherworldly in their music, and by folk artist Joni Mitchell. I didn't want to be put in a genre box with this one - it's just expression.” Pluto is a song about ending discrimination, celebrating diversity and ensuring that every voice counts and is respected. “There is a beautiful perspective that comes with seeing Earth for what it is, as a tiny dot in the universe. We are all so small, floating in this huge abyss, and no one is born better or more deserving than the next. The metaphor of my song Pluto comes from the idea that when I was a little girl, Pluto was deemed to be a Planet, but today it is seen as too small to be counted. The message of my song is that no one should ever be made to feel that small, and it hopefully encourages anyone who does feel that way to never give up.” All Vocals: Dani Wilde Acoustic Guitar: Dani Wilde Composition and Arrangement: Dani Wilde Produced by Dani WIlde Engineered and Mixed by Ali Gavan Mastered by Jon Astley Close to the edge Video by Philip James PLUTO (composed by Dani Wilde) We are all the same Orbiting the sun and leaning to the light A precious sight We are all the same Orbiting a star, one pulse, one heart Yet you tell me I’m too small to be counted I am Pluto, I may be small, but I am here x2 We are all the same Mortal skin and bones and a capacity For love We are all the same Wanting to be seen, wanting to find our place In this great night sky I am Pluto, I may be small, but I am here Like a ship lost in a storm we Navigate our way Some will try to burn our sails But we won’t turn back We are all pieces of the same astral puzzle I am Pluto, I may be small, but I am here x 4
